School is nearing an end for this year. Perhaps your child hasn't attained the goals you and his teacher set for him. There may even be talk of repeating the grade next year. Of most concern are the skills that are behind grade level. You've got to make the decision - summer tutoring or not…Why choose summer tutoring:
Once a student gets behind, a vicious cycle has begun. He needs to study the old material, so he doesn't learn the new material, but then the new material is the old material that he still needs to learn and now there's new material! Aaaagh!However there is hope! Most importantly tutoring gives a child a sense of confidence. He's no longer the slow kid; he's the in-the-know kid! Classmates are asking him for help. He's the one who can answer all the teacher's questions After a long break, most students will have severely atrophied skills. A student who simply retains the skills she learned earlier will be at a significant advantage. One who gets even one lesson ahead will be off to a successful start. The good news is that once a student gets ahead, he's on an upward spiral. He already knows the new material and can start previewing what will be next week's new material. He knows what's coming and whether or not he has difficulty with it, so he can make intelligent choices about budgeting study time

_________Total Price for the 14 session equals $420 payable in2 installments of $210 one due on May 29th and the other due on or before July 7th. (If payment is not made on these dates, I willingly allow another student to take my child’s time-slot. My child will then be placed on a waiting list if I desire for him/her to take part in summer tutoring.)
